Small-scale libraries tour
The Spark is looking for a Stage Manager for our Libraries Tour of Sylvia South and The Wordcatcher in July/August.
As part of the ACE Strategic Touring Fund, we are working with 5 local authority library services and have commissioned a new play for children by Finegan Kruckemeyer, inspired by the book The Imaginary.
The play will be written to be toured around libraries and other community centres in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland, has a cast of 2 and is directed by Adel Al-Salloum.
We are looking for a Stage Manager with experience of rural or small scale touring, a good all-rounder able to organise rehearsals, assist the designer and run the tour, including driving the van, operating sound and costume maintenance.
Dates: Rehearsals 26 June in Leicester. Performances 17 July, to 13 August 2017, with a possible extension to 27 August.
Rates: as per ITC Contract
