Mister Tootles Storychair was officially unveiled at St Barnabas Library on Saturday 30th January 2016.
Children are invited to climb into the magical tree and enter a secret, underground world. Once inside they can interact with sliding doors, pegs and boxes to reveal miniature worlds and release stories from the trees roots.
Mister Tootles Storychair is part of Imaginative Spaces, a project by The Spark Arts for Children working closely with Leicester Library Services, supported using public funding by Arts Council England.Click Here to find out more about the Storychair.

The Spark Arts for Children is delighted to bring I Believe in Unicorns, by award-winning author Michael Morpurgo, to Leicester fresh from a successful run at London's Vaudeville Theatre. Part of the Imaginative Spaces project with Leicester Library Service, this is the first time The Spark has put on a Christmas show for young audiences. There will be two public shows at Southfields Library on 6 December at 2pm and The BRITE Centre on 13 December at 2pm. It will also play to a number of local primary schools during its' two-week run here.

Over the last few years there has been a lot to celebrate about Leicester's rich history and heritage, and now The Spark Arts for Children is looking for residents of Leicester to help bring some more local history to life.
