The Spark Arts for Children exists to ensure that all children in Leicester have the opportunity to access high quality arts, which will spark their imagination and raise their future aspirations.
We need your support to continue to reach out to 0-13 year olds and their families.
The 2016 Spark Festival saw over 17,000 children and families attending 127 theatre, dance and music performances, visual and digital arts installations, free workshop activities and performances in parks. These took place in 17 venues, 20 schools & 3 children's centres over 13 days, now one of the largest festivals of its kind in the UK.
Almost 50% of events take place in schools, libraries and community venues and at least 20% of festival goers experienced a free event or activity.

"For the past 10 years, The Spark has entertained, educated and engaged the children of Leicester with its unique range of arts events… The Spark plays a huge part in involving the city's communities in the arts and we're extremely grateful for the contribution they make to Leicester's cultural life."
