The Spark work with a range of artists, and companies, in the development and production of new, innovative and diverse work for children.
Since 2015 we have been working with Mashi Theatre on their production of "Tales of Birbal" and continue to work with Turned on Its Head, developing new dance work for Early Years.
The Spark is delighted to work with Trina Haldar and her company Mashi Theatre.
The Tales of Birbal - Drawing from ancient cultures and diverse artistic influences, Mashi Theatre developed a new unique production of Indian folk tales. Tales of Birbal played the Spark Festival 2016 before embarking on 2 subsequent national tours.
Turned on its Head
Over the last few years The Spark have worked with Turned On Its Head to develop Shiny and Sponge - both dance pieces for very young babies and toddlers. Mrs Pockets, the company's new work in development will be shared with children and families at the 2018 Festival.
