Children and young people use their imagination to build a city made from cardboard. Creative two day workshops for 0-11 year olds (and their grown-ups).

Saturday 12 February – the build (SOLD OUT)

  • Pyramids, 10.30am to 12.00pm, (0-4 years) (SOLD OUT)

Get cosy in the gallery and build little houses from cardboard and other sensory materials. Lay out the roads of our city.

  • Cubes, 1.00pm to 3.00pm (5 - 11 years) (SOLD OUT)

Go big or go home. Stack and shape cubes and cardboard boxes to help build the huge tower blocks and dreaming spires that make the skyline of our city.

Sunday 13 February – playtime (SOLD OUT)

  • Spheres, 10.30am to 12.00pm (0 - 4 years) (SOLD OUT)

It's time to play and explore! Make balls out of cardboard, cloth or use ready-made ones to push, kick and roll around the city.

  • Street Games, 1pm to 3pm (5 - 11 years) (SOLD OUT)

Run, hide and skip your way through our cardboard city. Join us in the gallery as we play the sorts of games that grown-ups would have been playing on the streets back in the day.
