Takeover 2025 - Leicester Museum and Art Gallery
Saturday 17th May – 11am – 3pm
Children are in charge at these free, drop-in events!
Come and experience free creative activities for all the family, co-created with children from four Leicester schools:- Medway Community Primary, Barley Croft Primary, Charnwood Primary and Ash Field School.
Working alongside several artists, children from the four schools are letting their imaginations run riot and will take over Leicester Museum and Art Gallery, transforming these spaces into hubs of creativity with lots of free activities for all the family to enjoy together.
Medway Community Primary and Ash Field Academy have designed the day. Come and enjoy the fun!
Who’s it for?
Activities most suited for ages 3 to 11 years and their grown ups.
What will I do?
Take part in free creative activities as a family, co-created with children for children!
How can I book?
This is a FREE drop-in event, no booking needed. Drop by anytime between 11am – 3pm.
