It is an honour to be Patron of The Spark Arts for Children. I had the joy of seeing Tree Child performed to a group of entranced children (and parents) at New Parks library in Leicester this summer. Now, more than ever, we need this kind of work- work that connects children to the best of live performance, work that enriches their sense of culture, self and society. Every city, every community, every child needs a Spark!
