In the summer of 2018, The Spark Arts for Children joined forces with Leicester City Libraries and Neighbourhood services to cause Mischief. Having taken inspiration from The Beano and The Summer Reading Challenge, our artists in residence developed a programme of mischief, magic and mild mayhem. Through a series of artist led workshops we aimed to animate communities, foster a sense of curiosity and enable children of all ages to involve themselves in the Summer Reading challenge and Mischief Making.
We are delighted to be working with Artists Jayne Williams (The Brite Centre), Parmjit Sagoo (Hamilton Library and Learning Centre) and Dave "Stickman" Higgins (Early Years).
