
Music Champions
Early Years Music Champions is a 2-year project run by Leicester/shire Early Years Music Network led by The Spark Arts for Children. Music Champions will promote the role music plays in the communication and language development of children aged 0-4 years, providing training and network opportunities for musicians and early years practitioners.
Membership of the network is available to anyone with an interest in developing their practice and championing music in Early Years, including practitioners, musicians and venues. For more information on joining the network contact Liza Foster, Early Years Programme Manager liza@thesparkarts.co.uk
The Leicester/shire Early Years Music Network Music Champions project has been funded by Youth Music, using public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England. Delivery partners include The Spark Arts for Children, Leicester-Shire Music Education Hub, Leicester City Council Neighbourhood Services, Leicester City Council Early Help Services, Talent25 / DMU, Philharmonia Orchestra, The City Classroom and The Mighty Creatives.
