Hue Boy - A Heart-warming Treat For Families

As part of this year's Spark Festival, a heart-warming storytelling performance will be in community settings for families to enjoy. On Saturday 1 June, Hue Boy presented by tutti frutti will delight families at John Lewis in Highcross and the African Caribbean Centre.

Hue Boy from tutti fritti productions is a wonderful adaptation of the delightful book by Rita Phillips Mitchell. Hue Boy has a problem that everyone is talking about – he is small and doesn't seem to be growing. His family and the villagers all have their opinions about what he should do, but he does not grow until one day Hue Boy understands what it means to be all despite his height.

This magical storytelling performance transports the audience to a Caribbean village in a magical show suitable for ages 3-7. Hue Boy will be at John Lewis on Saturday 1 June at 10.30am and is a free event. John Lewis is supporting the festival as Community Event Partner which enables the performance to be free of charge to families.

Hue Boy will also be at African Caribbean Centre on Saturday 1 June at 2.30pm. Tickets for the afternoon performance cost just £1.50.
