Olivier Award-nominated theatre company Wizard Presents' perform I Believe in Unicorns, a wonderful and enchanting show, set in a library full of books that hold more than stories within their pages. The show has been created by Dani Parr, Associate Director of Royal & Derngate Northampton and well known producer / performer Danyah Miller.

Written by best-selling children's author and former Children's Laureate Michael Morpurgo (War Horse, Private Peacefull), this is a tale of the power of books, and the bravery of a young boy called Tomas. Tomas loves playing in the mountains where he lives and hates reading and school, but his world is turned upside down the day he meets the Unicorn Lady (Danyah Miller) in his local library…

'Danyah's performance is a tour de force. The show is moving and memorable, a glorious example of the magic of storytelling. I didn't like it, I loved it!' MICHAEL MORPURGO

An enchanting and interactive show, I Believe in Unicorns will spark the imagination in both young and old, and challenges you not to believe in unicorns after joining Tomas on this spellbinding journey. The Spark Arts for Children invites you to add your own piece of magic to the story, by bringing a children's book with you to the show which will become part of the set, and then you can swap if for another at the end.
