Become a Trustee

The Spark Arts for Children in Leicester is looking for new Trustees, people passionate about our work and supportive if our vision, mission, values and goals.

Our vision is to enable extraordinary experiences for children, sparking creativity and change. Becoming a Trustee at The Spark means joining a talented Board who are skilled, creative, collaborative and refreshingly challenging.

We're committed to building upon our strengths and achievements as a creative organisation and working in new ways to establish a more sustainable future, ensuring progressive change is at the heart of our purpose.

Please download the pack below to find out more about what's important to us and why. We hope this inspires you to be one of our next Trustees.

We have many areas of expertise and different skills on our Board. And we would like to build on this. Because we want to augment the skills we already have, the areas that are a priority for us include:

  • Artists and cultural leadership
  • Marketing and communications
  • Social entrepreneurialism and business strategy
  • Technology and digital media
  • Data, evaluation and research
  • Environmental responsibility
