Storytelling through Music

This FREE face to face network event is for all early years practitioners and artists working with children aged 2-5 years interested in developing music in their setting. 

About the session:

In this hands-on practical session will be led by B’Opera director Zoë Challenor; B’Opera create interactive musical experience for babies, toddlers and their families. B’Opera was founded by professional singers Zoë Challenor, Jacqueline Wright and pianist Phil Ypres-Smith and their aim is to bring beautiful music to tiny ears. Based in Birmingham B’opera brings opera productions and singing to babies and young children.

The session will explore storytelling through music, sharing practical examples using singing and instruments and sharing case studies to inspire!

Networking Opportunity: 

There will also be opportunities to ask questions and network with other network members.

The network is supported through a partnership between The Spark Arts for Children, Leicestershire Music, and Leicester City Council Early Help Team as part of the Music Champions project.
