Children are in charge at this FREE, drop-in event!
Come and join in the fun at this free event, co-created with children from four Leicester schools: Falcons Primary, Mayflower Primary, Mellor Community Primary and Queensmead Primary Academy.
The children invite you to come and build a brave space where children can play, create and explore!
There will be lots of activities on the day including:-
- Clowning workshops
- Making musical instruments
- Puppet making
- Drama games
- Arts and crafts
- Drawing through dance
- and lots more!

The Gallery is situated on the De Montfort University campus

Tip – easy option is to walk to the campus entrance off Oxford Street, on Bonner Street.
When you’re on the campus it’s really easy to find. Walk straight on and The Galley is on the right hand side – based in the Vijay Patel Building. The entrance is just left of the building with the enormous digital screen. It’s family friendly, close to the river and a great place for a picnic.
Nearest public car park is Newarke Street car park LE2 7AD (around 7 minutes walk)
