We’re looking for volunteers to assist with our upcoming exciting Les-tah to the Front theatre-gig library tour, our At Your School performances in local schools, and weekend Takeover events, planned and run by children from Leicester schools, happening in May 2025.

At Your School Volunteers

For the At Your School events, volunteers will support the team by attending school performances and supporting the touring companies throughout the week. Tasks include assisting with event set-up and take-down, putting up banners, and helping staff and teachers prepare for performances. Volunteers will need a DBS check for these school-based roles.

This is also a fantastic chance to experience world-class music, dance, and theatre performances, specially curated for Leicester and Leicestershire schools.

Event Dates: Tuesday 20th May to Friday, 23rd May 2025

Takeover Day Volunteering

Our Takeover event will take place on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May 2025, with two events in Leicester. We’re looking for 6 volunteers to assist with these family-friendly events at De Montfort University Gallery and the Leicester Museum and Arts Gallery.  Responsibilities include staffing information points, supporting set-up, collecting feedback, supporting workshops, and helping with event stewarding.

Event Date: Saturday 17th May 2025 at Leicester Museum and Art Gallery

Event Date: Sunday 18th May 2025 at De Montfort University

Timing: All Day (9.00am – 4.00pm). The event itself will run 11-3pm.
