In 2013, The Spark commissioned playwright and poet Joseph Coelho to create a new piece of theatre for the children and families of Leicester. Created in collaboration with young people from Spinney Hill and Hazel Primary Schools, this new piece of theatre was professionally produced and toured into city libraries over the summer holiday. It formed part of the summer reading programme and the Arts Council England’s Strategic Touring Programme.
