Attenborough Arts Centre

The University of Leicester's Attenborough Arts Centre prides itself on being accessible and inclusive. With over 18 years of experience, their programme offers performance, courses and workshops, contemporary art exhibitions, activities for children and families, and more.
Parking
Car parking is free after 6pm on weekdays and weekends at the Medical Sciences Building next to Attenborough Arts Centre, visitors are required to ring the buzzer on entry to the car park and state that they are attending the Attenborough Arts Centre for access. Pay and display parking is available on Lancaster Road and in Victoria Park. Prices at time of writing are: £1 up to 2 hours, £2 up to 3 hours, £4 up to 12 hours.

Four car parking spaces for blue badge holders are available at Attenborough Arts Centre. Attenborough Arts is fully accessible to wheelchair users.

Belgrave Neighbourhood Centre

Situated in the heart of Leicester's Golden Mile, this former Wesleyan Methodist church and school is now a neighbourhood community centre which offers a variety of classes, social activities and events for people of all ages.

The main entrance is located on Rothley Street, off Belgrave Road. A car park with limited spaces is situated behind the centre.

The BRITE Centre

The BRITE Centre in Braunstone offers a variety of classes, social activities and events for people of all ages including rooms that can be hired.

Curve

Curve is a spectacular state-of-the-art theatre based in the heart of Leicester's vibrant Cultural Quarter. Unlike any other theatre in the UK, it has no traditional backstage area. Audiences can enjoy the full theatre making process and peek behind the scenes.
Parking
Parking available in the NCP car park next to the Curve on Halford Street. Disabled parking spaces are available on Southampton Street opposite the Curve and in the NCP car park. The drop-off point for the Curve is on Rutland Street.
Access
Spaces for wheelchair users are available in the Theatre, Studio and RR2. All public areas are also accessible to wheelchair users. There are accessible toilets throughout the Curve including an adult hoist and changing facilities. Working dogs are welcome.

Leicester Gallery

The Gallery provides a rich resource for DMU's students and staff and many others beyond the campus with unique opportunities to participate in projects, and encounter world-class artists. To book a workshop please email thegallery@dmu.ac.uk.

If you are travelling by car and using Sat Nav, use postcode LE2 7DP, which will direct you to the centre of the campus. Car parks are signposted from there. Nearest non-campus car park at Newarke Street car park.

There is ramped/sloped access at the outside entrance. There is a canopy which provides weather protection at this entrance. Accessible toilet facilities are available.

Leicester Museum & Art Gallery

On the ground floor of the museum, visitors can enjoy the Arts and Crafts Gallery. The first floor galleries include Picasso Ceramics: The Attenborough Collection and Leicester's internationally renowned German Expressionist collection. The museum also offers a range of events from curator's talks to lunchtime concerts.

The car park can be found by navigating to Princess Road West, LE1 6TP. The nearest major car park is the NCP situated on East Street, next to the Y Theatre.
Access
Leicester Museum and Art Gallery has full access for disabled visitors with a lift to the first floor galleries and an accessible toilet. Please note Gallery 6 has a small stage area for step access only. There is provision for two parking bays for Blue Badge holders in the museum car park. The museum also has available a wheelchair for loan during the visit to the museum (please contact the museum in advance to ensure availability).

Leicester Print Workshop

Leicester Print Workshop is the Midlands centre for fine art printmaking. It is home to a large open access studio in central Leicester that houses equipment for silkscreen, stone and plate lithography, etching, engraving, relief and letterpress. It works with schools, community groups and arts partners to teach printmaking skills and runs evening and weekend courses for adult learners. The exhibition space has a regularly changing programme of print related exhibitions which are free to view.

Access
This is a wheelchair accessible site. There is blue badge on street parking on Queen Street and Southampton Street. Please call if you would like to reserve space in the small onsite car park.

Phoenix

Phoenix is Leicester's centre for independent cinema, art and digital culture.
Parking
A public pay and display car park is available outside the Phoenix. Parking is free after 6pm and on Sundays. Parking at the Rutland Street NCP is available for £4.20 all day for Phoenix customers.
Access
Wheelchair parking is available outside the Phoenix. Wheelchair spaces are available as well as toilet and washing facilities. Hearing loops are also available and guide dogs are welcome.
