Your Spark Festival visit

We want to make sure your visit is as enjoyable as possible. Here’s all the information we think you’ll need to make sure you festival experience is the best it can be. If you have any questions that aren’t answered here please get in touch at tickets@thesparkarts.co.uk or call us on 0116 261 6893

Access

We understand that not all of the festival may be accessible to you. Whilst our programme is a mixture of art forms some events are naturally more accessible to different audiences. All our venues are wheelchair accessible and we ensure that specific access provisions are in place for areas of the programme so that the festival can be seen by the widest audiences.

Attending events

Please bring your booking email with you when you attend an event and aim to arrive 15-30 minutes before the event is due to start.

Look out for a friendly Spark person, we’re the ones in the red t-shirts if you need help.

Venues

Our events take place at a variety of venues across Leicester, and we want to make sure everybody can get involved.

Visit our Venue information page to find out more about access, parking, and other useful information about each location.

Unaccompanied children

Most festival shows, workshops and participatory events are designed for children under 13 to be accompanied by an adult.

Photography and recording

There may be Spark photographers taking pictures and video at our events. If you and your family do not want to be photographed, please let the photographer or a member of staff know.

Please do not take photos or video during performances, as this can be disturbing to the performers. If photographing your child at other events, please be mindful not to take pictures of other children.
