Making at Home with Sophie
Leaping out of the libraries and connecting with our Early Years partners.
Artists in Residence, Dave "Stickman" Higgins and Sophie Cullinan have literally leapt into action, to jump out of the libraries, and into homes and classrooms to create fantastic learning opportunities that will support children's learning across the EYFS three prime areas of learning and beyond!
"Paper Palace" with Sophie Cullinan: transform your room into a Paper Palace creating incredible and curious objects using everyday newspaper and card.

For this session you will need to fish around for newspaper, glue, tape and a pencil.
Get ready to go fishing in your living room!

Join Sophie and make a heap of hats. This was inspired by Topiwala - a traditional Indian folk story about a hat seller and a tree full of cheeky hat-loving monkeys.

This week Sophie makes a duck and pond, inspired by a story of a little duck who doesn't like to get wet.
