Learning Resources

The Spark At Your School programme will be touring  schools from Tuesday 19 to Friday 22 May 2026 bringing world class music, dance and theatre to schools across Leicester and Leicestershire.

The resources below will help your school get the most out of these extraordinary experiences.

Bringing Learning to Life

The much
loved Spark Festival is back! Teachers tell us these visits are a highlight of the year, offering pupils a rare chance to enjoy high quality, live performance directly into their school halls. We create genuine connection and engagement, away from screens.

The Spark has curated a programme shaped with guidance from the Spark Mega Bosses – young people from schools across Leicester who selected themes they felt were most important to children today: play, peace and equity.

This year’s performances include a movementled adventure exploring dual heritage, bold and joyful punk inspired live music, and a heartfelt story of two hijabi stepsisters training for a skateboarding competition.

Theatre that leaves a lasting impact long after the performance ends!

Preparing for a live performance at your school

This short video has been made for you to show to the children just before they watch the show. We hope it will help them to understand what is about to happen – without revealing any spoilers!
